Meet the Team
Edwin Wu, OD
President, Optometrist
Dr. Edwin Wu is an alumnus of M.B. Ketchum (formerly Southern California College of Optometry) in Fullerton, CA. He is certified for the treatment and management of ocular disease and glaucoma and has worked at Covina Eyecare since graduating in 2010.
Kenneth Urriquia
Associate Optometrist
Dr. Kenneth Urriquia is also an alumnus of M.B. Ketchum and has been with the office since 2015. He is an avid shoe collector and Lakers fan.
Maria Rangel
Office Manager
Maria Rangel is our office manager and joined the office in 2013 after completing her optician certficiation at Northwest College. She learned for many years under our late-great office mother (Regina Douros) whom has since retired after 42 years and ridden off into the wonderful Ariziona sunset.
Yaretzi Fuentes
Optician, Inventory Manager
Yaretzi Fuentes is our optician and inventory manager. A lover of all animals (ask her how many animals she has) she is also our office festivities director (ok i made that up) and helps put people in the spirit of the season.
Errold Magallanes
Lab Technician
Errold Magallanes is our lab technician responsible for in-office lens edging. He formerly worked as an optician as well but has since pursued a career in social services.
Michelle Andrade
Team Member
Michelle Andrade is our newest member and has quickly fit right into the office culture.
